Last year I started a Photo per day album, but things got out of hand and life just ran away with me. This year I am not promising to do the same, but I am going to try and take one each day and post it here, so please forgive me if I miss any days due to overwhelming circumstances. I just enjoy what I do and love having fun with my camera. Please feel free to leave your comments!

I received these two beautiful gifts from my stepdaughter for Christmas which she had bought on her travels to Venice and Croatia. I simply love them so much! I have wanted a Venetian mask for 28 years and finally I have one! 🙂

Spent a wonderful morning at the Helderberg Nature Reserve with a very special friend teaching her the little I know about my camera and taking photographs. When I took this photograph I didn’t see the dragonfly which was trying to hide behind this opening reed. So when I got to look on my PC after downloading them all Lo and behold there to my surprise was a double pair of dragonfly wings sticking out the sides! 🙂

Finally finished off a top that I sewed for myself last year. This is the crocheted embellishment around the neck. Hoping to start making little girls dresses soon and doing a bit of upcycling of clothes. Watch this space!

Red amongst the green. I love this tree and especially when the sun reflects through the red leaves. I call it a ‘HEART TREE’ because the leaves look like hearts.

I found these in a little blue manhole, which is used when they come and fix the burst water pipes in our road. They are very busy bees that have made a nest obviously in the manhole. Would llove to see what happens when the men come to fix a burst pipe. 🙂
